Many of the youth that come to YES have been disconnected from school
and/or work for a long time which can present challenges when it comes
to looking for jobs and writing resumes. At YES we believe in meeting
youth where they're at and will offer support to any youth that come
through the door, no matter their background or learning abilities.
With this in mind:
How might you assist someone who says they want a job but has very
little work experience? How about assisting someone who struggles with
reading/writing?
Many online applications or assessments can be long and tedious. How
would you approach assisting someone who needs help filling out one of
these applications or assessments but struggles to maintain
concentration?
